Have you ever known someone whose very presence comforted you? They seem to have no need of words, but their quiet companionship soothes like balm to the soul. These are your kindred souls who have already been the route you're traveling, or are just ahead and leaning back to take your hand.
NEVER EVER AFFORD TO HURT THOSE PEOPLE! :-)
Wherever you are on the path of life, there have been many there before you. It may seem the loneliness of the road has many empty echoes. But there have been many good people concerned enough to make an effort to mark the rougher places to allow your journey easier traveling.
And like all travelers we must look for those signs and make them more plain to the ones who will follow.
And then, in quiet communication, we can each take our turn by understanding.
How often we see people who desperately need our help ?. We would like to help them, but we put it out of our minds because it seems beyond our means and beyond our strength. We use the excuse that we have enough problems of our own without going out on a limb for someone else. Charity begins at home and at home...
If we have the true desire, and the welfare of someone else in our sights, we can ask divine guidance, and we will receive help. If help does not come, it is because we were not truly serious. Or perhaps whatever we wanted to do is not in the best interests of all concerned. Our help may only have slowed their progress or weakened their efforts. If our desires are worthy we need have no fear that a way will come to help.
The desire to help is a divine gift, and we accept it most beautifully by using it...

Doors of Oppurtunities..
We have often heard it said that God never closes one door unless He opens another. It is a great comfort to know we never really lose when we believe, for any defeat can be turned to good if we will absorb the lesson in it.
And yet, how often we refuse to go through that door that has been opened for us. It is so much easier to stand back and wail about the closed one. There seems to be a certain amount of glorification in defeat. It is a subtle something that hides in us and keeps us from doing well that which we know we are capable of doing. If we show strength, we are afraid we will have to stand alone.
Sometimes a door will close for us because that particular one would have caused us more unhappiness, but it never closes for punishment. God is love and love does not punish, nor does it have any power but to give what is right and good for us. With this knowledge, we can by grace walk through those doors that open to us and know it is right.
Something new is always an exciting prospect. It can be anything that changes the face of daily life and brings it into a new pattern that makes us feel better. Drudgery can take over our thinking and then our actions. Sticking too close to one routine and never having a change is an obvious sign we are heading for drudgery. If renewal is to come there must be change - even if it is to walk a short distance, talk to someone out of the ordinary, and do something for someone. These things sound simplistic but if they turn our thinking to more creativity or more relaxation, it is worth doing.
Any comments? Do post them off as they encourage me to post more..

Disturbed People...
There's a lot to say and increasing concern over this issue 'now a days'.There is a common misconception generally that 'disturbed people' are those with mental disability or disorders of that sort.In fact, ironically it is observed that normal people who lead their lives are also 'disturbed'...which is unseen by general people.Emotional disturbances is what I am stressing upon...the more suppressed feeling are,the more frustrated people's minds are..and the result : people are more 'disturbed'.
This idea of sharing came into my mind many days back..but then there were many and many more things which were distracting me to blog on..I feel like writing this thing as I've been to a hospital where I saw a 'patient'(though he was not so).He was not behaving the way he should be but he was understood as a 'disturbed person'.I got this idea from the fact that he was thinking too often before he spoke something.I felt i could do something but before something i did,he left the place.
I feel a person is disturbed when the thing he intends to do ..doesn't happen and slowly the frustration piles up.That frustration should be dealt with at ease.If that doesn't happen,he may end up in trouble..or even loose his life...
I suppose there is a subject to deal with it too.I think people should get acquainted with "disturbed situation" of people/mind.
